Pioneer Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Mycorrxyz Inc. (doing business as Pioneer, "Pioneer," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares personal information in connection with our AI-powered platform (the "Service"), available at usepioneer.ai and pioneerclimate.com.

1. Information We Collect
Account information. When you sign up (via Google sign-in or an email magic link), we collect your email address, name, and organization domain, which we use to create your organization workspace. During onboarding we may ask about your role and goals.
Content you submit. Information you put into the Service, such as pipelines, research criteria, files, notes, and contacts or other records you import. You are responsible for having the right to submit the information you provide.
Public information gathered by the Service. To perform research for our customers, the Service gathers publicly available professional information about companies and people from public and licensed sources.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We store subscription status and billing identifiers; we do not store card numbers.
Usage and log information. We collect usage events, log and diagnostic data, and error reports, associated with your user and organization identifiers. The Service uses cookies for sign-in sessions and analytics (see Section 7).
2. How We Use Information
To provide and operate the Service. We process your account information and content to run the research and generation you request, maintain your workspace and pipelines, deliver results, and provide support when you ask for it.
For billing and account management. We use account and payment information to manage subscriptions and usage-based charges, issue receipts, prevent fraud and abuse of free tiers, and keep required financial records.
To communicate with you. We send transactional email you need to use the Service (sign-in links, team invitations, notifications about your workspace) and onboarding and product-update email to help you get value from Pioneer. You can unsubscribe from onboarding and product updates at any time; transactional email is sent only as needed.
For security and debugging. We use logs, diagnostics, and error reports to detect and fix failures, investigate abuse or unauthorized access, and protect the Service and its users. Database activity is audit-logged for this purpose.
To improve the product. We analyze usage patterns (which features are used, where workflows succeed or fail) to decide what to build and fix. Improving Pioneer means improving our prompts, workflows, and product design.
We do not use customer data to train AI models. No customer data makes its way into any model training dataset or model weights, directly or indirectly. We do not fine-tune models on customer data, and our AI providers are contractually prohibited from using data submitted through their APIs to train their models (see their commitments linked in our Subprocessor List). We also do not sell personal information and do not use it for advertising.
3. AI Processing
Pioneer is built on third-party AI models. To operate the Service, we send relevant data (inputs, retrieved public web content, and content being researched) to AI providers, currently OpenAI and Anthropic, including OpenAI embedding models for search features. These providers are US-based and process data under API terms that prohibit training on it.
AI-generated output may be inaccurate or incomplete. Review it before relying on it.
4. How We Share Information
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run Pioneer, grouped here by what they do (current full list: Subprocessor List):
- Infrastructure & hosting: Supabase (database, authentication, storage), Vercel (application hosting), Inngest (background processing). These store and process the data described above to run the Service.
- AI providers: OpenAI, Anthropic. These process data as described in Section 3.
- Research & data services: Parallel AI, Firecrawl, Exa, Apify, Unstructured, MillionVerifier. These retrieve and process public web content, public professional profiles, documents, and email deliverability signals as part of performing research.
- Payments: Stripe. Billing information.
- Email & communications: Resend (transactional), Loops (onboarding and product updates), Google Workspace and Slack (business communications and operations). Email addresses and message content.
- Analytics & monitoring: Segment, Sentry, Honeycomb. Usage events, diagnostics, and performance data.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice).
5. Data Retention and Deletion
You can delete your account and organization directly in the Service, and deletion takes effect immediately. We do not keep copies of deleted customer data, except in short-lived infrastructure backups that roll off automatically and records we must retain for billing, legal, or security purposes.
6. Security
We protect personal information with industry-standard safeguards: encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, passwordless authentication, organization-scoped access controls, and audit logging, running on SOC 2 certified cloud infrastructure. No method is perfectly secure; if a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law. Details for customers who need them are in our Data Processing Agreement and its security annex.
7. Cookies
The Service uses essential cookies for sign-in sessions and analytics tools to understand product usage. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. You can control cookies in your browser; blocking essential cookies will prevent sign-in.
8. Your Rights
You can access and update your account information in the Service and delete your account as described in Section 5. For anything else, including access, correction, or deletion requests, or any question or concern about information in our Service, contact privacy@pioneerclimate.com. Where applicable law (such as the CCPA/CPRA or GDPR) provides specific rights, we honor them, and we will never discriminate against you for exercising them.
9. International Processing
Pioneer is a US company and primarily processes data in the United States.
10. Children
The Service is for business use and not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
11. Changes
We will post updates to this policy and update the date above. If a change meaningfully reduces your privacy protections, we will notify users by email or in-product.
